Christmas show

The girls had thier Christmas dance recital on the 4th of December this year. Usually it is a really, really rough run through so I don't make a huge deal out of it but this year they were AWESOME!!! I was soooo proud of them. They all did soooo good!

Girls night!

Every year me and a bunch of my girlfriends from high school get together for dinner and presents for Christmas. We always have a lot of fun and a lot of laughs. (Thanks Brandi!!) Here are some of our beautiful pics. Aren't we such a good looking group of girls!?!?!

Thanksgiving

Ok I'm a little late but I had a very, very slow computer and so it took forever to post anything. But thanks to Aaron I now have a very, very fast computer so I will be updating more. Thanks Honey!

So for Thanksgiving this year (and every year for that matter) we went to my Mom's house. Aaron had to work so it was just me and the kids. It was nice we don't really make a big to do about Thanksgiving. We have good food, Lot's of it and mainly just enjoy the company of each other. Here are some pictures we took.

There were people lined up Wednesday night outside of Best Buy just for the black Friday deals! Can you believe these people!?! If you look to the left there is a guy playing basketball, yes they had a basketball hoop set up to play with for the wait. Again some people are CRAZY!!

So we always go and buy the kids there own Christmas Ornament for the year. This year is the 1st year we have gotten to buy a "boy" ornament. So we had to get the Tonka truck. But the funniest part is Dollee. She got Sleeping Beauty, the only thing is she doesn't call her Sleeping Beauty she call's her Sleeping "Booty"! It's great just had to share.

1-Where did I meet my husband? He was my BFF's boss at Burger King when we were 16. She would always joke around and say "Aaron, here comes your wife!" Good call Candice!
2- How long did you date before getting married? 10 months! We work fast.
3-How long have we been married? 10 years, we work fast and we outlast!!
4- What does he do that surprises you? After 10 years there aren't a lot of surprises left. I'd have to think about it for awhile.
5- What is your favorite feature of his? Well since this is a family blog ;) I would have to say his hands. You can tell how hard he works by his hands, and I know he works hard for the family.
6- What is his best quality? He is an INCREDIBLE dad!! He loves his kids more then anything else in the world and ALWAYS put them first!
7-Does he have a nickname for you? Not really.
8- What is his favorite food? He loves "Mormon mom" casseroles, but unfortunately I don't make those. But he loves my taco chili soup.
9- What is his favorite sport? Jazz basketball.
10- When did you first kiss? In his room watching Legend. I fell in love with him that night.
11- What is your favorite thing to do as a couple? Ok again a family blog so I will have to say hanging out at home with the kids.
12- Do you have any children? yep, Rylee, Carlee, Dollee and Wyatt
13- Does he have any hidden talents? He is an artist, he used to draw a lot more but I think he has just gotten too busy.
14- How old is he? 30
15- What is his favorite music? Country (except Kenny Chesney) and most of the 80's and 90's rock.
16- What do you admire about him? He has very strong convictions. When his mind is made up that's it there is no changing him. Sometime that's not always great for me but most the time it is.
17- What's his favorite color? Black! When we first met his bedroom was painted black.
18- Will he read this? I doubt it, unless I make him. He really isn't into my blogging.
19- Who said "I love you first"? I don't remember but I'm going to say him. He would probably remember better then me.

Weight Watchers

So some you might know that I have been doing Weight Watchers since the middle of September. Well I was blog stalking and found this blog http://gottagetshrunk.blogspot.com/. She is now my inspiration and motivation. I have lost 21lbs since I started and 50lbs since I had Wyatt. So I am doing ok but I have been in sort of a rut for the past couple of weeks. My goal is to be under 200lbs by Christmas so I need to step it up. So if I am at a function this holiday season and I pass on something don't take it personally I am just trying to get what I want for Christmas. Check out the link the lady went for 281lbs to 137lbs. That's amazing and I'm ready to follow in her footsteps. (minus the tattoo's)

Baby Tag

My Babies!!

Ok I've been tagged. I have to tell you 10 things I love about my baby, but since I have 2 babies your going to hear 20!
First Dollee
1. I love that she gets so excited when I come in the front door, whether I just took the garbage out or I have been gone for hours.
2. I love that she is a monster, she gets into everything and makes my life VERY interesting.
3. I love the way she talks. She has an almost lisp thing that she does at the end of a lot of her words. So cute!
4. I love our bath time. We usually take a bath at least once a day. It's like our quiet bonding time. It's also when I teach her about her elbows, knees and her other body parts. She can tell you were almost everything on her body is.
5. I love watching her play with her dog Bridgett. They make me laugh. You would think as rough as she is with Bridgett she would hide from Dollee but that's not the case. Bridgett takes a beating and go back for more.
6. I love that she loves pony's, barbies and all the other girlie toys there are out there.
7. I love her little bald head!
8. I love to watch her chase after her sisters thinking she is just one of the girls when there friends are over.
9. I love that she calls lotion "motion" and yogurt "o gurt"
10. Last but not least she is my little Drama Queen, she will be whining and I'll say whats a matter Drama and she will say "Drama". So now the joke is I tell her "Save your Drama for your Grandma!"
Now Wyatt
1. I love his little "lady killer" ie. his butt chin
2. I love that the second his dad starts talking there is no one else in the room all he sees is his daddy.
3. I love that he sleeps in his own bed already. What a big boy!
4. I love how he talks himself to sleep. It's so cute. When he first started doing it Aaron was always like whats a matter with him and I had to just tell him that it was his way of putting himself to sleep.
5. I love that he loves his silky blanket, just like my cute little brother Skyler when he was little.
6. I love that he is already built like a linebacker. What out BYU, he'll be taking you down in 18 years!
7. I love that he is my little twin. A total boy version of me. He IS quit handsome!
8. I love his little bald spot on the back of his head.
9. I love the way he laughs at all his sisters. All they have to do is say "Hi Wyatt!" and he starts giggling.
10. I just love everything about my little chunky monkey!

Perez Hilton

Ok so most of you know I LOVE to read Perez Hilton's blogging. It's one of my obsessions. Well with all this proposition 8 stuff going on in California he started out not really saying much but now he has gone on to blame the Mormons completely for it being passed. I honestly can say I didn't have any strong feelings either way on how the bill went but the way he has started attacking Mormons I feel like he is attacking me personally. So needless to say I am now boycotting his blog. It really kills me but I just can't support that. He has now decided he is boycotting Sundance. Really, Sundance?? Last time I checked that wasn't a Mormon ran function. He is calling the entertainment industry to boycott Utah all together. I'm really upset by it. I just feel like I have supported him for a few years now and I have even stood up for him and he has let me down. I love everybody no matter what there preferance is on who they want to be married to. I just don't like this hating that is going on it really makes me sad. That's all I have to say, but I am going to miss my Queen of all Media Perez!

Eyebrows!

So apparently Rylee thought her eyebrows were too long. She decided to take care of that by taking Aaron's nose hair trimmer (I know gross!) and "trimming" them. These pictures aren't great but with her blond eyebrows it was hard to get a good shot. But you can tell she has chunks taken out. What a dork! I've told her no more shaving anything unless she ask's me first. Hopefully she has learned her lesson!

HSM3

Rylee and Carlee wanted to see High School Musical 3 sooooo bad! I took Rylee and Carlee along with some friends from school (they also dance with 2 of them) The movie was cheesie, but cute. The girls had a lot of fun. I think I will try to do this kind of thing once a month with them it was a lot of fun to see them interact with there friends in a different environment. Girls are funny!

Meliae "Ivy" Romero

She was born Oct. 29th and was 5lbs 13oz. 18 inches long.

These pictures make me laugh! The first thing that comes to mind when I look at them is "Fe, Fi, Fo, Fum!" He is a giant next to her. Can you believe there is only a 4 month difference between these two!
Dante was so funny at the hospital. We were waiting for her to have the baby and we could see them through one of the windows in the operating room. We asked Dante what he could see and he was like my new baby sister! Well we still didn't know if it was a boy or a girl at that point. Guess what he was right, he said all along that he was going to have a baby sister like Dollee and now he does. Congrats Crystal!!

Keeps getting better

I just wanted to say I love you honey! Happy Anniversary!! I love the way you make me laugh, and how much you love your family. Here is to 50 more years, It just keeps getting better!

4 month stats

Wyatt had his 4 month check up yesterday and this is how it went. The Dr. comes in (yes, the very goodlooking Dr. Jackson) and he just is smiling and say "man, he is a big boy!" So he suggested that we start looking for a new carseat since he is pretty much out grown the one he has now. Then he tells me his head is normal size. Good! His height is 26 inches long that is the 90th percentile. Then we get to his weight, he is 18lbs 4oz!!! That put him in the 97th percentile in weight. Hello he is a tank, there are 1 year olds that weigh that. So again Dr Jackson just tells me I'm doing a wonderful job he looks great. But he also told me about a 6 year study about moms who chewed gum like Trident and it helped with the babies teeth. So I will be going and buying some trident gum, but it only helps if you are breast feeding so if your not you can chew it for yourself but it wont affect your kids.

Boo @ The Zoo

Ok so we totally tried to do the whole Boo @ the Zoo thing. It wasn't happening. It was a nightmare there! Yuck!! It ended up beating a 25 year standing record for the most people to come to the Zoo in one day, and the record was from when ZCMI offered free admission to the zoo.

We went to a park by the zoo and hung out instead! Much less crowded and the kids still got to play!

This is the road driving away from the zoo. It's hard to see but both lanes of traffic were backed up for about a mile. There were people parking in the middle turn lane to let the kids out to get to the zoo. I know so safe right!

Halloween Costumes

So Aunt Alicia just brought over Carlee's Halloween costume. She is amazing!!! Carlee is going to be Glenda the good witch from The Wizard of Oz. For Carlee's birthday party the girls dressed up in prom type dresses that I bought used. So I gave one to Alicia and she transformed it into the dress. She is incredible!!! I will post pictures sometime this week, probably not until Sunday. I just wanted to say Thank You, Thank You, Thank You to Aunt Grandma Alicia!
